'This World' is a heavy metal outfit hailing from Sydney who have their sights set on global domination!

After forming in late 2004 with ex 'Withered' members Steve McLeod (Guitar), Michael Keeble (Drums), and Steve Robb (Vocals), This World set out from the very beginning to transcend the trends surrounding the genre today and to take metal back to its roots (with their own touch). In 2005 they introduced one of the two final members into the band, Mark Shreddings (Guitar) and more recently Bremmo on (Bass).

Drawing on a wide variety influences the band strives to create an original sound with thrashy and melodically driven power grooves. Robb’s lyrics reveal a deep and menacing anguish, supported by Shreddings’ uncompromising finger-work.

The band is receiving an overwhelming response to their music by both audiences and people within the music industry alike. With a growing fan base and continued interest, ‘This World’ are determined to cement themselves into the Australian metal family
